We are so excited to announce that we have moved our sensory room to our new facility at 1265 Dainty Rd. in Brentwood. Thank you to the board of Special Haven for providing us with the equipment for our sensory room. And thank you for your support that has allowed us to take this step!
The Be Exceptional Sensory Room provides an immersive environment using multi-sensory equipment to stimulate mental activity, provide a calm, relaxing environment, and/or promote social interaction. A multi-sensory room environment can be instrumental in changing behavior, increasing focus and attention, and adding to the feelings of positive self -esteem and well-being; but most of all it can be an oasis of calm, and a safe, accessible place to have fun for all ages. A maximum of 8 people (including parents/caregivers) are allowed in the sensory room at a time. Cost is $12 for individual booking; group rate of $10 per participant. Book an appointment at www.beexceptional.as.me.
